Raq.com for Architects

Run the practice. Issue drawings with the right revision, every time.

Fees, RIBA stages, resources, drawing revisions, issue packages, site visits and project financials use the same project record. Your team can trace each decision back to the work and files it affected.

Full access for 30 days. No card required.

£85 a month including 5 internal users
Clients and consultants use restricted access at no charge
RIBA Plan of Work stages 0 to 7 included
Named people retain professional decisions
Architect Workspace

Open the project and see the work that needs a decision.

Stage health, fee burn, due deliverables, drawing issues, client decisions and site actions sit together. Select a figure to open the records behind it.

The issue sheet comes from the issue.

Select approved revisions, assign an explicit subset to each recipient and complete the configured human approvals. Raq.com then freezes the source set and generates the issue sheet, transmittal, manifest and recipient packages from it.

Exact files, named recipients

A released package keeps its controlled revisions, permitted use, recipient list and acknowledgement history. Later uploads can\'t replace it.

Practice and project work

The fee proposal becomes the project baseline.

Accepted scope, fees, hours, programme and deliverables stay together. Variations and forecasts update the current position without rewriting what the client accepted.

Pipeline and fees

Qualify work, check conflicts and capacity, build stage fees from roles and hours, approve the commercial position and record client acceptance.

RIBA stage control

Use stages 0 to 7 or add work packages. Each stage keeps its programme, fee, hours, outputs, decisions, gate exceptions and immutable close snapshot.

Resources and time

Plan named people or provisional roles by week. Approved time updates stage hours, labour cost, fee burn and the remaining forecast.

Drawing control

Keep a stable drawing number, immutable revisions, title-block checks, status and purpose codes, QA decisions, supersession and issue history.

Project financials

Track original and current fee, approved variations, commitments, WIP, earned fee, invoices, payments and forecast margin by stage.

Quality and risk

Record peer reviews, design risk, Building Regulations duties, CDM evidence, planning constraints and retention without turning a model suggestion into certification.

Site and contract records

Record what you saw. Keep the issued report intact.

Photos, drawing pins, observations, responsible parties and due dates form the visit record. Distribution freezes an exact report snapshot, while open actions can keep moving.

Site visits

Prepare a visit, record conditions and attendees, pin confirmed observations to an exact drawing revision, then carry selected open items into the next visit.

Issued reports

Generate a branded report from confirmed observations. The snapshot records its controlled version, recipients, issue time and later acknowledgements.

Contract administration

Keep RFIs, submittals, instructions, changes, delays, payment records and completion evidence in numbered registers. Issued records require a superseding correction.

Architect AI

Use the project record as the source.

The assistant can draft a fee scope, find a brief gap, read a title block, explain an issue mismatch or prepare site-report text. It cites the records it used and stops before the professional action.

Design option work

Use sketches, site photos, massing views and material references with explicit rights and provenance. Compare variants, retain prompts and inputs, and label generated work as concept material until a person approves sharing.

Drafts and checks

AI can create project and issue drafts through the API or MCP. It can\'t approve a revision, freeze an issue, authorise release, certify, sign, submit or close a professional record.

Questions

Before you start

Does this replace practice-management and drawing-register software?

It covers pipeline, fee proposals, RIBA stages, resources, time, project financials, drawing revisions, issue packages, approvals, site reports and contract-administration records. Your accounting and design-authoring systems can remain the source for the work they handle.

Which team members need a paid licence?

Internal account members use paid licences. Clients, consultants and contractors can receive restricted links or portal access without becoming paid internal users.

Can an issue sheet change after drawings have been sent?

No. Release freezes the exact revision files, recipients, issue sheet, transmittal and technical package manifest. A correction needs a new or superseding issue.

Does AI approve drawings or make contractual decisions?

No. AI can extract metadata, find inconsistencies and prepare drafts with source links. Named people approve, issue, certify, sign, submit and close professional records.

Can we use our RIBA or JCT forms?

Yes, where your practice has the right to use them. Raq.com can map customer-owned templates to project data. It doesn't redistribute licensed forms.

Can you import our current drawing register and project data?

Yes. Imports run through mapping, validation, duplicate review and reconciliation before records become authoritative. You can export the structured data and original files again.

Review your current practice systems

Send us your current project, drawing and fee workflow. We will identify what can be imported, where information is duplicated and which controls need a person to review.
